ALice,

I will be at the conference but will be unable to attend a Thursday

night get together. I have committed to attend the get together the

UMDF office planned. I bowed out of the discussion once I knew it was

being planned for Thursday night. Sorry, Shelby

Laurie,

What kind of things do you have for the silent auction? At the Dallas

conference I bid on and received a baby blanket which my grandson has

thoroughly enjoyed using when he came to Gama and Pa's house for a

visit. Thanks for putting things like this together. I know it must

take a lot of time.

I hope to meet you at the conference.

Take care, Shelby, mother of , 30 years, mitochondrial

encephalopathy, clinically diagnosed in 1998 by Dr. Kelley, Kennedy

Krieger; also organizer of Virginia support group

I am interested.

Another option, if the Pizzeria Uno is not an option is Pizza Outlet

() which appears to be almost next door by the address. It is

now called something different (Vermillies or something similar).

It might be a good idea to list the silent auction items here because perhaps

some of the list members who can't make the conference would like the

opportunity to bid. Is that possible, Laurie?

Everything is packed in boxes. I have a partial list of what I am taking,

but I also know that others are bringing things and some folks have mailed

things to the UMDF office, so they can take them to the hotel. My stuff is

mainly notecards, stationary, dolls, baby clothes, yarn octopi (made by

's daughter, yarn shaggy dogs. and other misc. items.

Everything will have a minimum bit on them which is in the $.50 to $5.00

range.

I listed the type of things I will be taking, but I have made well over 100

things, so listing each one isn't possible, besides which almost everything

is already packed in boxes.

We will be selling the few " " shirts that are left from Dallas,

plus the pins and keychains we had made.
