Jai: Hi! I about fell over when I read your posts about having a nerve injury like my own. I have never talked to anyone who has ever gotten RSD because of this. I was told that because I injuried the nerve, ( Femoral Cutaneous Nerve) main nerve of the leg. This is why I had gotten the RSD and that I had alot of tissue damage and this is what caused mine to happen. I just had a workman's comp trial last year and lost my case, because my employers threatened my witnesses if they showed up for court they would lose their jobs. I lost my case because of this, because I wasn't able to prove how I got hurt without my witnesses. I was DEVASTATED!!!! Here this place is what caused me to get RSD and now Fibromyalgia and Myofascial syndrome all at once. My life has been destroyed and they get away with it, where in the hell is the justice on this one. They took me down at 34 years old, and now I am 42 going on 43. My youngest daughter was 6 years old when I got hurt and now she is

going to be 15 years old in January. I feel we all got cheated on life, me and the kids!!! I didn't get to be there for them the way I wanted to be, but I guess I can't complain I am now home with everyday and no longer working nights and weekends. I am on permanent disability. SSDI, thank god, but it took me 3 1/2 years to get this. So I know what it's like to struggle, I lived on $300.00 a month for over a year, and I lost everything, including animals. I have been trying to make it up to her ever since. I am just thankful to be HOME all the time now. To be with her in her teenage years, she needs me the most here. I know my oldest daughter is very upset about me having to work when she was this age too! I guess you could say I have alot of guilt right now. I got screwed big time!!!! I hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and it's nice talking to someone who can relate with me. Thank you! Oh by the way, do you get terrible pressure in your

left leg? and does it get really cold and feel like it's about to fall off like from frost bite. I have horrible pressure, they told me because of the restricting on blood vessels. Sorry for a book, just had a few questions to ask? Take care! Janet U.jaismonkey@... wrote:

I had the nerve cut in my left leg. My skin has been changing for sometime now. It's been very shiny and tight, very red and very itchy, my feet are turning purple and blue at times. It's so weird, I have so much pressure in my left leg and foot right now, it feels like it could fall off!!!.

Hi Janet,

you state that you had the nerve cut. Was this caused by an injury or was it surgical? The reason I ask is because I had a horrible injury to my leg in 1999 and had surgery on it. During the surgery the saphenous nerve was damaged and this is what started the RSD. Was your nerve being cut the reason you have RSD? Happy Holidays!!! Love Jai
