Again, welcome to the group, and about your question on diagnoses...for your ANA to read positive, you must be in a flare. A negative ANA does not mean you don't have Lupus, but it can mean that you are in the first stages and it isn't registering in your lab work as yet. Keep writing to the group, read the informational articles available to you at the main website, and ask questions, ask questions, ask questions.
