Guest guest
HI a, I do hope you make it to the Conference. I can't wait to meet you. Hope your feeling better. Hugs, ann-Marie Re: Not a good time to crash... , Hi! I hope you start feeling better soon. I want you at your best for the conference, as I know traveling wears you out and sends you into a crash. I remember being at the airport together in Dallas! Yes, do bring your cane this time and " comfortable pair' of shoes! I still don't know if I am going to be able to attend the conference or not. I hope to see you if I do go, if I am not able to make it, my spirit will be with you! With the Conference just a few weeeks away I am heading for a crash........in reality I probably am responsible for some of it Last week I subbed at my daughter's daycare and was around 6 one to two yr olds; who of cours had the usual kids colds and germs. I only subbed because it helped off set Kailanne's tuition and we all know how financial resources can be tight when you have 3 people on the coctail and need a gazillion meds monthly. I probably should have thought it thru a bit more, but what's done is done, right? I am suffering with extreme fatigue and now have symptoms of a Resp Infection. In addition, I have a bad back due to muscle strength probs so lifting all the babies all week long caused the spasms to return. I was in PT for about 4 months and it seemed to really help, but the Good Ole Insurance maxed out and they are denying any additional therapy. I have an appt set for tomorrow with my PCP to hopefully get the Resp Problem dealt with so I don't go into disteress and need a steriod boost. My Doc is a DO so he will also preform a manipulation to help my back. All in all I plan to rest as much as possible before the Conference so I can avoid a major crash. When I left Dallas 2 yrs ago I went right into a crash that lasted a few months. This time I plan to be smarter and bring my cane to use so when I start to feel the slightest bit fatigues I will be prepared. It seems that traveling always does me in and sets off a chain reaction. Does this happen to anyone else? I am not sure if any of you remember but by the time Koch and I headed for the airport, from Dallas, I was barely able to stand. Let's all say a Prayer that I do better this time around. Take Care and thanks for being there when I need all of you. It is so great to have all of you out in cyber space to reach out to when I am having a pity party or just need some support.
Guest guest
Ann-Marie, Thanks, I am hoping to make it to the conference. I am looking forward to meeting you and others. Also looking forward to seeing the ones I met in Dallas. I have been doing okay as long as I get IV fluids a couple times a week. It is a fight with my doctor, but one worth having, as it is helping me out!
