Guest guest
Hi, my son has been in his band for 3 wks now and I (unfortunately) had high expectations when I went for our first follow up visit. He improved by .5mm. That's it!! I was warned that the progress would be slow given his age (almost 10 mths) but it still hurt. I'm already getting so many stares, comments, etc. I'm already thinking about so many social events where I would really rather not have the helmet on him. And after all this, there may not even be any more improvement. I just needed to vent. Thanks... Re: Hi We're New! Welcome to the group Ingrid. This group is definitely a blessing; it's nice to have other parents to go through this process with. I am kind of excited because I have been so worried about his head and didn't know why it looks like it does or what could be done for it , if any. But I have found out there is treatment, as you all know. Yea! I am in just in the first steps. I spoke with some one at DOC Bands today and I go to his ped. monday for a referral. I also believe he may have torticollis because he has always had his head to one side (right side) I think thats what may have caused the plagio. Well anyways I am so happy to find this group. And as soon as I find out how to post pic of my little man , I will. His name is Bradley and he is 4m. Have a Blessed Day!
