surgery for my sister today

Hi Guys...

If you have a minute today, please pray for my sister (54) with mito and

extreme pain. She is getting at least one and possible four!!! pumps put in

today... Unfortunately,she live is Portland, Oregon and I live outside Philly.

I

wanted to go and take care of her, but she is so stubborn. I hope all goes

well and will keep you posted. Would like to here from anyone who has a pump

for pain,,,,,

Carol,

Pain can be an issue with Mito and it is hard to find a solution. I hope your

sister gets some relief with the pump. I know some others who would like to

know what to do for the pain. I'll keep her in my thoughts today as I know that

living with the pain can be very life altering.

Hi Carol,

Sorry to hear that your sister is going in for surgery, and I will be praying

for her. Pain is very important and needs to be addressed when it is so bad that

it interfers with daily life. I know a few Mito people who have severe pain, I

am one of them.

I didn't know that they could put 4 pumps in you for pain. I never heard of

that. I have only heard of 1 pump for the pain, and sometimes people will also

have a pump for their insulin.

I hope the pump helps your sister with her pain. I will be praying for a quick

and successful surgery.

Btw, Carol are you going to the Convention? And haven't heard from you in

awhile, How are you?
