Guest guest
I was running late this morning and didn't have a chance to eat my usual breakfast (special K with berries and skim milk). I dropped the kids at school and went to the gym to workout. After working out my friend asked if I wanted to go get something for breakfast, so I said ok. She wanted to go to this little Bistro place and I figured I would end up getting just toast because they wouldn't have anything point friendly. Well, to my surprise they had a lite omlette with veggies. This was one egg, 2 egg whites, onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes and served with dry wheat toast. I ordered this but wasn't sure if I would like it or not because I am not a big egg eater. It was GREAT!!!! I was so impressed with this omlette I told my friend I might jsut have to make this at home! Here is how I pointed it: whole egg 2 points 2 egg whites 0 points 2 points extra for any oil (I asked that they not use any, but who knows?) veggies 0 points I didn't eat the toast, just because I didn't feel like it So, I counted the omlette as 4 points...I hope that was right! Funny thing....the waitress came back to the table 3 times to ask if I wanted butter and jelly for the toast or is something was wrong with it because I didn't eat it. I finally said that it was fine (I guess) I just didn't want it. What do you think? aureen
Guest guest
I believe you are right! I think I will try that. I have egg white omlettes and in an hour I seem to be hungry, maybe adding an egg with the yolk would be just what I need. Thanks for sharing this. new breakfast I was running late this morning and didn't have a chance to eat my usual breakfast (special K with berries and skim milk). Guest guest
sounds great, we will often do this for dinner and add fake sausage and make own hash browns. Great choice on your part!!!!!! zephyr new breakfast I was running late this morning and didn't have a chance to eat my usual breakfast (special K with berries and skim milk). Guest guest
Hi everyonw! This must have been the day for omlettes! My mom called and asked me to come over & make her one like I made her last week. So I had an omlette for lunch today. It was very filling and I made it with egg beaters & a regular egg. I added a little cheese and onion and some real bacon bits. I counted it as 7 points with 2 slices of diet toast. I was down 1 # this week for a total of 9# in 2 weeks.
