Guest guest
Hi - I'm taking MTX orally since the end of december. I get such a continual pain/ache in my stomach and all of my intestines for about 3 days. My rheum has now given me Leucovorin to take the day after and this week it seemed to help. A tiny vent. I think I'm having a digestive tract reaction to the Methotrexate injections. I just took my 4th shot last Friday, and yesterday I was having stabbing pains in my stomach and having to run to the bathroom about every 15 minutes. The 4th dose was the killer one last time when I was taking it orally. I really want this to work, because it does give me some energy back. I'm hoping,(and talking myself into believing), it was just the pizza from the night before. Today I'm still having some cramping, but the immodium from yesterday seems to be holding. We'll see.I think the hardest thing to deal with in regards to Lupus is how often it pisses me off. Every time I turn around it's pulling the rug out from under me in another direction. I'm a very consistent and reliable man, and this disease is way to unpredictable for me to get a grasp on with my mind. It's kind of like it's the opposite of me. Guess that's part of what I'm supposed to learn from it.Thanks for the vent."The LUPIES Store" Come check out our store...http://www.cafepress.com/thelupies"The LUPIES Web Page"http://www.itzarion.com/lupusgroup.html"The LUPIES online photo albums!"
