Hi everyone! My name is Deanna. My 6 year old son was

diagnosed with plagiocephaly when he was five months old. I was just

wondering if there is anyone else out there with an older child, like

mine, with any other problems. My son was discovered to be

deaf in one ear and 48% deaf in the other ear when he was four and a

half. It just seems like he has one problem after another. This is

not the only problem, he also has severe speech problems, related to

the hearing. I would just like to know if anyone else has related

problems with their children. We were told that he would have no side

affects from plagiocephaly.

I am so sorry to hear of the troubles your little boy is having, and I

wish all of you the very best. There is a group of parents with older

plagio. children that may really be able to help answer your lingering

questions, and perhaps set your mind at ease. We caught our now 10

month old son's plagio. at 3 months and banded him at 6 months, so I

can't help from personal experience. Please try the older plagio

group and let us know how you make out!
