How do you know if a band is fitting correctly? I have the Star band

on my baby, she is just under 7 months & we just got it last week. It

seems to go on OK, and sits about 1/4 inch above her brow line. But

when we hold her or she lies down, it pops up a little to be about 3/4

inch above the brow. Is this normal since she needs to grow into it a

bit or should it be snug on her head right away?

We're having similar problems with Chase. We've had the STARband since Thursday and while he's adatped SO WELL, I find my self adjusting it quite a bit. He's almost 9 months and is super active, so he's rolling around a lot (it also moves when he's in the car seat, high chair and changing table). It's defintiely not too loose at other times, just when he lays down. That's a major question for our ortho at our appointment on Thursday. They told us the initial few weeks (and consequent fittings) it will be loose as the head needs room to grow. If I hear anything else, I'll post it Thursday night! Good luck! Otherwise, how is she adapting?debbieny1972 <debbieny1972@...> wrote: How do you know if a band is fitting correctly? We had 2 ill fitting starbands (that's a whole other story) but I have

noticed that with our sons doc band it does move up and down easier

when he is lying down. Maybe it is okay. Any shifting of more than

1 " is not good.
