I have read about this. I have seen it being called

" type 3 " .

What other health probs do you have going on that he

thinks are unique, if you don't mind me asking.

If you dislike or feel uncomfortable with this Dr. it

is never wrong to get a second opinion or even change

Drs. I am very happy and comfortable with my doc, but

he was on medical leave for several months and I hated

his collegue that covered for him. Medically he was

competent but his " chairside manner " made me feel very

bad emotionally and I refused to see him anymore. My

Doc is back now thank goodness. I think it is

important to be able to visit your Doc without fear or

anger after tje visit.

Alzheimers is considered by some medical profesionals to be a form of

diabetes which affects the brain. That's the one they have taken to

callin type 3. The one where you have the issues of both 1 and 2 is

sometimes called type 1.5....
