Sorry to hear about your toe! I've always said that the best thing about

pain is that it feels so good when it stops. Just try to sit and get your

foot up whenever you can, and walk veerrryyy carefully for awhile.

Speaking of smashing toes, since I've just moved I can't even remember how

many times I've mashed the **same toe** on boxes over the past few days.

It's always the next-to-little toe on the left foot. Poor toe is black and

blue. I'm glad I don't have any healing problems with my feet.

My next A1C, however, will probably be a disaster because just before and

then just after the move my eating was terrible...went out to dinner with

friends, drank Margaritas, had loaded potato skins, ate dessert...the

entire catastrophe. Bad thing to do just a week before I need to get the

bloodwork done, considering that it's the most recent few weeks that weigh

the heaviest on that test. At least I won't panic if it's higher than

normal because I know I'd been eating like I should 90% of the time since

the last test. Heck, maybe if it's high it'll help convince my NP and Doc

she works for to let me try some Byetta (sp?) or sumptin' like that.

I tried sniffing coke once but the

ice cubes kept getting stuck in my nose.

Thanks for your concern. I always have to walk carefully if I want to

stay upright. But right now I have an extra reminder. At least I forgot

about my thumb some of the time. Yep the best thing but pain is when it

takes a rest for sure.

Good luck with y our next A1c Sky.
