The final decision is going to be, like the day before we leave. There is just too many variables to make any desicion before hand. Dwight and his Mom are going regardless. I will have my sister, and daughters to help me out with anything I may need. So how are you doing? > Lin Dear Lin, Glad you are going to follow your inner guide and wait until the day before leaving. It will give everyone else a chance to accept that you, in fact, may not go and it is your decision because no one (not even your loved ones) are able to decide for you. That is part of this wild ride with RSD, don't you think! We just can't plan the future in the ordinary sense knowing that pain level dictates activity. Yuk! You asked how I am doing. I guess you can tell by my posts that my mind is all over the place remembering my past life centered on managing pain and disability versus the freedom and independence I have been experiencing these last several years. I am choosing to remain hopeful that these two weeks of prednisone will have some positive affect. I was on prednisone for (I'm in process of checking all my records) approx 2 years. That is not a good thing but I did get better and eventually became pain free with a minor disability of function at my ankle and foot. Along with the large doses of prednisone I injected myself daily with calcitonin for at least a year. Because it was a slow improvement with countless setbacks to the original level of pain and dysfunction I just don't know what the source of remission was. I am doing some inner work on my overall view of how I've been living my life and how I can adapt to keep it meaningful and fulfilling as I go through this change. How are you managing your daily activities? Would you be willing to describe a typical day for me? Just an aside- I am a Lynda called Lyn and you are () Lin interesting .. Thankyou, Lyn (Lynda Lorraine)
