When do you start back to work?

I go back tomorrow morning for a few hrs to catch up on inservices

that I have missed.....BORING, then I will work a few hrs a day for

awhile as I have to build up endurance AND attend my PT/OT appts both

are twice a week in 2 different facilities.

Are you going

> back part time or full time?

Part time for now until I can make it full time without exhausting

myself. I wont put myself under too much pressure because no one else

is going to be able to help me if I get in over my head.

What kind of work do you do?

I WAS a Certified Nurses Aide on a specialized Alzheimers unit

working 40hrs a week but I was injured by a resident while I was

assisting in dressing her. So I am going back in an administrative

position basically filing, updating employee education files etc.

How long have you

> been out?

I have been out almost 6 months if you can believe that. I dont know

how long I will last but at least my script states that I am to work

as tolerated which leaves a gap for my hours and whatever hrs I dont

complete up to 40 WC is supplementing which is cool.

OK enough with the questions already!!!

No worries on the amount of questions Jai LOL have a great day!

Hugs

Donna

Donna,

Good luck tomorrow. I hope that you will build up your endurance and be able to work at least part-time. I have been off since 11/03 so I have been out a year.

I am so glad that you are doing so much better.

Let us know how it goes,

Lin
