It is so easy for people to recommend a hysterectomy. DON'T DO IT. There

are other options. Once the uterus is removed the long term effects on your

endocrine system is unknown. You will be completely irractic for years as

your body is trying to find a way to fix itself. On the internet there are

several doctors that specialize in the treatment of fibroids and they have

websites. There is a procedure where they cut blood supply to the fibroid to

shrink

it. There is medication to take to shrink the fibroid if you opt to have it

removed.
