Guest guest
Maybe spoiled isnt the right word..........i say that because everyone says i am spoiling her because i always hold her and i never let her cry for more than a second before i scoop her up..... she wants her mommy...no one else can hold her and make her happy like me and i love it........do not think i dont enjoy holding her......i was only commenting Not complaining that its hard to do things around the house....... if she isnt spoiled now.....SHE WILL BE ! so saying she is spoiled is ok...... nichole Nesting I think I am getting my nesting instict late! LOL!! I have been scrubbing my house from one end to the other every night this week! I find it easier to do in the evenings when dh is home to help with the kids because otherwise I have to stop every few minutes to do something for the kids. Of course being pregnant for 2 years straight didn't really do wonders for my house! It is just terrible! Does anyone else find it difficult to get things done in between nurseing, diapers, feeding older kids, errands, house work......... I swear the list never ends! Guest guest
Put your baby in your sling and do whatever you need to do. Meanwhile, let others claim that she is spoiled. Just smile sweetly and tell them if it is spoiling to need her mommy, then so be it! I have forever been accused of spoiling my babies for all the reasons that you describe: I don't let them cry, I hold them constantly, all of that. If my housework doesn't get done, it will always be there tomorrow. The most important job in the world is being a mom! I remember when everyone accused me of spoiling my first, I started to feel guilty. Then I talked about it with our social worker (our daughter is adopted) and she made me feel so good when she said: " spoiling is when you change a rule to give in to a child, not holding them too much! " I realized then that I couldn't hold her too much. The time that they let you hold them so much is so incredibly short, how can you possibly be spoiling when in just a few months they will want to be down on the floor moving around & exploring. Don't let anyone tell you that you are spoiling her!!!!! In the meantime, continue to enjoy every moment that you have to hold her. Guest guest
Do you have a sling? This could help you get some things done. Lucas is a lot like your baby, he wants to be held a lot of the time. He doesn't nap well at all during the day either. Gradually I'm starting to get more done, I do as much as I can holding him so I can put him down for those things that I can't do with him in my arms.
