Hey ,

You don't usually have to stay 2 nights for a sleep study, usually one night

and part of the day. Been there done that. The machine you are talking about

is probably a BIPAP machine. They are now smaller, portable and provide

positive pressure to keep the airway open. It can come in a nasal pillows or

a mask that fits over the nose tightly. This is what my husband Larry a

respiratory therapist says. He says the nasal pillows are more comfortable

to some people. Hope this helps, write more if ya need more info. The sleep

study I had was a joke, too noisy!
