Guest guest
Here is another interesting " mito " connection. Anyone heard of meso therapy? MESOTHERAPY- ANTI-FREE RADICAL Complementary and Alternative Medicines (CAM) are emerging in the world and in the UK in particular. Mesotherapy has started to take its place among acupuncture, osteopathy, homoeopathy and other CAM. 4 reasons to concentrate on Mesotherapy: -Pain Control - Stress Management - Fortify Body Resistance - Cosmetology- By definition free radicals are produced in greater or lesser quantity within the MITOCHONDRIONS , small cellular organelles, real energy production factories possessing a small DNA molecule (genetic material), that makes them capable to divide and multiply according to cellular needs. When our body is attacked by various stresses ( fatigue, pollution, tobacco, UV, microbes, toxins, inflammations, lack of sleep, trauma etc...), great quantities of free radical are produced within the cellular mitochondrions. Free radicals toxicity is a genuine public enemy No.1, is responsible for the development of an important number of diseases related to the injured tissues: - Osteoarthritis, arthritis, arteriosclerosis, recurrent infections, cataract. - inflammatory pathology: tendonitis, sciatica, ageing, degenerative disorders etc. In order to combat this radical toxicity, our body has several defense mechanisms: - anti-oxydant enzymes, (glutathion, peroxidase, catalase needing the presence of selenium, copper and manganese). - vitamins: C, E, Beta-carotene, lycopene, luteïne and coenzyme Q10. - Flavonoids: to date we know several thousand of these, extracted from plant pigments. We absorb a big part of these anti-oxidants through our everyday food. However, our society uses more and more refined and chemically treated products and our food is very often deficient in anti-oxidants. Supplement anti-oxidants are fundamental against free radicals, in association with regular physical activity and toxins free and healthy living. THE PLACE OF MESOTHERAPY Mesotherapy is defined as a intra-dermal subcutaneous medicine injection method. The practitioner uses a syringe filled with a mixture of anti oxidants and other authorized allopathic medicines, which he injects in the skin with a very tiny needle, making painless multiple punctures without any side effects. In this way Vitamins B,C,A, E and Magnesium, real " trappers " of free radicals are delivered in the body as well as anti-inflammatory drugs and muscle relaxants etc... Mesotherapy will be able to reduce free radicals' toxic processes and as a consequence, act on the pain / inflammation and also stimulate immune defenses and slow down the degradation of cells membrane responsible for ageing( MESOLIFT). Mesotherapy is practiced by skilled medical practitioners after a thorough consultation. This can be done on your working site, at your home or in the clinics. Anti radicals Mesotherapy opens the way to what we could call " MITOCHONDRIONAL MEDICINE " ; its remarkable efficiency in numerous disorders whose central common cause is radicals toxicity, makes it an avant-garde therapy, just as remarkable by the absence of side effects and simple use. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Wellbeing Clinic http://www.wellbeingcliniceurope.com> 64 Church Road London SE19 SEZ 0 > >

Guest guest
There is a place in Michigan that has just started to advertise that they do Meso Therapy. They stress weight loss and cellulite removal mostly. Kind of neat if it works. justagram@... wrote: >Isn't that interesting, . > >Alice > > > >Medical advice, information, opinions, data and statements contained herein are not necessarily those of the list moderators. Guest guest
A physical therapist I had for my now good shoulder used extreme pressure to the painful area to push toxins and free radicals out so they could be carried away. I never gave it a thought until this article, but it sure did reduce the pain. laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Wed, 30 Jun 2004 14:18:54 -0700 > To: > Subject: Meso Therapy > > Here is another interesting " mito " connection. Guest guest
So, does this mean that there's a connection between cellulite and toxins? Weight gain and toxins? Guest guest
Your guess is as good as mine. I wish I could find out more info. whoewe2002 wrote: >So, does this mean that there's a connection between cellulite and >toxins? Weight gain and toxins? Guest guest
I did a little research and the only thing I could find was pretty negative (I believe there may be an article in medscape discouraging the use of mesotherapy. The problem seems to more related to infections due to improper injection procedures in unlicensed establishments). Guest guest
I just saw an ad for that in New Jersey Monthly or some such. It's " supposed " to work, but I'm sure costly maintenance visits are required, lol. Take care, RH > > > > >Isn't that interesting, . > > > > > >Alice > > > > > > > > > > > >Medical advice, information, opinions, data and statements > contained herein are not necessarily those of the list moderators. > The author of this e mail is entirely responsible for its content. > List members are reminded of their responsibility to evaluate the > content of the postings and consult with their physicians regarding > changes in their own treatment. > > > > > >Personal attacks are not permitted on the list and anyone who > sends one is automatically moderated or removed depending on the > severity of the attack. > > > > > >
