Starting aggressive repo is a great idea. Even if you decided right

now to go for a band, there might be some weeks or so before she would

be in one. Aggressive repo in the interim can, at worst, prevent the

plagio from getting any worse, and at best, may even show dramatic

improvement. Taking a picture right away from the top view and side

view, etc. might be a good idea - it's always helpful to have an

objective image with which to compare progress on down the road

instead of relying on memory.

If you need any repo help, or have any questions, let me know! My

plagio/brachy " baby " is now over 4 years old, lol. She looks

fantastic now. We were able to successfully treat our daughter Remy's

plagio/brachy head shape with aggressive repo only. We started very

late for repo, when she was 5 months old, and continued repo in some

form or another until she was about 13 months. Her progress pics are

in the Photos/Before and After/Repositioned/Remy album if you want to

take a look. There aren't many of us with dramatic success with repo

only - it just doesn't work for every situation. I am somewhat of an

old-timer now, I guess, lol. I am one of the Repo Moderators (Becky

is the other one) for the group.

One of the best ways to responsibly repo is to be able to know when it

isn't working, so that your little one can move on to a band in a

timely manner if it turns out to be necessary. I created a document

in the Files/Repo headquarters folder titled something like " Is My

Baby A Good Candidate for Repo " that may be worth a read while you are

aggressively repo'ing, investigating the band coverage that your

insurance has, and checking out local band providers.

Please keep us posted on how everything is going,

Christie (Mom to Repo'd Remy)
