Guest guest
I have not been able to write to you guys for the past few days. Doesn't it just figure that as soon as I find this site, my computer would have a glitch! Things aren't great here. I guess I am in what I usually call my " crash " cycle. I have so many questions that I would like to ask, but I don't feel like I have the energy to type them. After reading a lot of the different messages, I have a bunch of questions about Carnitor, Q-gel and such. Dr. Shoffner did not mention anything about them. He just told me to take carnitine and CoQ10, and Riboflavin. Is Carnitor a substitute for Carnitine? Is Q- gel a substitute for CoQ10? So Far, I am taking 600mg of CoQ10 a day and 1000mg of Carnitine (500mg TID)and 150mg Riboflavin. I take a few other supplements as well, but those are the ones that Dr. Shoffner told me to take. I have other questions, but they will have to wait. I need to go eat something. Angie
Guest guest
Carnitor is the Rx grade or carnitine. Q-Gel is a brand of CoQ10 that has stage I orphan drug status that is more bioavailable than other brands. It is said to be 2-3 times more bioavailable than other brands. I hope this helps. peanut2goob wrote: >I have not been able to write to you guys for the past few days. >Doesn't it just figure that as soon as I find this site, my computer >would have a glitch! Guest guest
Angie I was also diagnosed by Dr. Shoffner. He is a true scientist who needs things proven to him. I think this is why he isn't as aggressive with the supplements as some. Carnitor is the prescription grade carnitine. Any of your doctors should be able to write the script. It only comes in 330 mg size tablets and most doctors seem to be prescibing 3 tablets 3X per day. Q-gel is the most bioavailable CoQ10. I hope the CoQ and other things help to get you out of the crash. laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Tue, 29 Jun 2004 19:30:13 -0000 > To: > Subject: Computer problems fixed! > > I have not been able to write to you guys for the past few days. > Doesn't it just figure that as soon as I find this site, my computer > would have a glitch!
