Guest guest Posted June 28, 2004 Report Share Posted June 28, 2004 Hi Joanne, BRAVA to you for your yoga regime! Sounds like you're doing some great things for yourself to help keep you mobile. Wonderful to hear that your muscle strength is improving and you are having to rely less on your wheelchair. I applaud your hard work because I have a little bit of a sense of just how hard you must have to work for it. I also have done yoga for many years, but now even the GENTLE yoga can cause my muscles to " freeze " and tear, though I still keep doing it as well as gentle rebounding. I credit the yoga and gentle stretching with keeping me (probably) just as flexible and able to balance as I was 25 years ago (unless I'm crashing) , but alas, it doesn't seem to do a thing for my pain level. Hoping there is some " magical' some thing out there we don't know about yet that would keep us ALL pain free.
