( I am still working on getting an official diagnosis) I have been doing yoga. the gentle stretching exercises help my muscle pain tremendously. At first it was pretty comical. I try to do my exercising when I am alone. My muscles were so weak I couldn't hold a pose for more than a few seconds. And just forget the balance exercises. I would just fall over. I still am pretty weak, but I have seen small improvements in my strength. I no longer have to use my wheelchair for most things. I have seen a big difference in the pain I have. I got busy this week and missed my yoga. Boy could I tell the difference. The nice thing about yoga is that you start where you are. And even if you can't do things right, you do the best you can.
