Guest guest
I am having a huge crisis with a huge spike in pain all of the suddden. I was decompressed for the second time in Sept and had a VP shunt put in by Dr Bolognese, They had to take the shut out for a month or so later b/c of an allergy. I am in more pain now than ever. Pain and pressure in the back of my head. Worsening of the baseline to serious severe cough headaches, and headaches when pushing to pee or poop. Tingling in my face and right arm, poor balence, nausea. I'm scared, I dont know what is going wrong. I have been to the er 5 tines and they were only willing to treat me once. I am getting so depressed. My autonomic stuff is out of control My vision is messed up. I need help. I am going to some friends and my sister to get away from home next week. I'd like to know what doctors are in the area so I'll know where to go if I need to. I'll be in the Colombus Ohio Area first, then in Chicago. Please help me. Guest guest
Sharon I'm sorry to hear that you are not doing well. What supplements are you taking? Does your doctor think that any new ones or increase in dosage might help? Pain just brings more pain, as it stresses our bodies. Have you tried sleeping as much as you can for a few days? This helps me when in a crash. laurie > From: SharonW1124@... > Reply-To: > Date: Sat, 26 Jun 2004 20:49:11 EDT > To: > Subject: heelp...need to find a docc fast....urgent > > I am having a huge crisis with a huge spike in pain all of the suddden. Guest guest
I do not know of any doctors in Chicago, but Dr Tick is north of Milwaukee, about 1 1/2 -2 hrs away depending on what side of Chicago you are at. If you want I can give you his number but he is very hard to get hold of. Janet Sample Re: heelp...need to find a docc fast....urgent > > Here is the chapter contact in Chicago. Guest guest
Dr Tick is a great suggestion Janet and if he is that close, I would make that my recommendation. I know we have members of this list who feel he is wonderful with Mito patients. Thanks for sharing this possibility. Alice
