I have had two ultra- sounds showing the fibroids have since grown in size (roughly 25% larger). There are three fibroids ranging in size from 8 cm to 5 cm (others are smaller). I am 42 and no longer have the desire to have more children. I really don't have many symtoms other than heavy bleeding the first two days, lower back pain and some abdominal pressure. Anyone have advise as to proper treatment? I am currently waiting for my Dr. to call with options. Also what questions should I pose to the Dr. Thanks for your advise!
