I will miss Mattie. He was a very special soul. A soul who came to

us here on earth, to guide and teach and love us. An angel in an

earthly body, an old soul. Although I know it was his time, I will

sorely miss the Champion he was, and forever will be. He was OUR

hero. Which goes to prove that heroes dont have to be big and tall

and strong, or old and wise, they can be small, disease ridden, and

young. But his soul was old and wise beyond his short years. His

soul was big and tall and strong. And that part is the part that

counts anyway. May his mom be blessed and surrounded by angels,

especially her special, very own mitoangels, today and always.

God bless and keep them all.

Well, things are nuts for me right now, but am holding out and holding on.

A memorial day wreck, (other driver's fault) and the subsequent money crunch

meant a shortage of coq which led to a return of some symptoms, but a friend

gave me money, so am back on it. Meantime, still am taking care of mother,

grandmother, and work not to mention my own household, and fitting in a

boyfriend to boot, so am busy all the time! To top it all off, my work

hours are fixing to go up, which means more money, but even less time to

myself. (what is that? haha)

Thanks to you and Laurie for greeting me :)

Wow.. you really have had something to keep you busy. I smiled when I saw the

new boyfriend comment. I'm glad to see this. Just know that we miss you and

it's nice to hear from you when you get the chance. Sorry about the wreck and

hopefully no one was hurt.

foof - I just wanted to let you know that I appreciated your comments. You

don't very often post to the list so I didn't recognize the e-mail address. I'm

glad you let us know who you are.

How are you doing?

Alice,

Actually this is the first time I've posted here. I have looked into

it before, but had a tough glitch with yahoo some time ago because of

a previous network I used. I am glad it works fine now.

It's nice to see familiarity in this group. The summer is going pretty

well. I have about 2 more weeks of physical therapy left, no gain in

strenth, but some gain in endurance. I have been having some of my

episodes, but luckily they seem to pass and I haven't been back to the

E.R. (They call these episodes everything from weakness, fatigue,

seizure-like) I use a wheelchair to go from one floor to the next so I

don't wear myself out before therapy starts. This helps. I still

have no word on the power wheelchair, they had to send the request in

a second time, as they couldn't find the original. I don't know how

much longer I can go without some kind of wheelchair. My daughter is

bored during the week since I can't go on the bus and take her anywhere.

Since I got the disability, I am less stressed and thankful for it.

How about you, how are you feeling? Are you able to hear at all, I

remember you had a lot of problems with that surgery. Hope your doing

well. Happy to hear from you anytime.
