Ok I am back

Friday mooring took a to Dr then home for a visit and she went in to labor

at 5 pm took her in at 8 pm

babies heart rate decelerated with each contraction so put her in to a birthing

room. talked about a C section.

inserted a thing in to her cervix to thin it and took it out 12 hours later

then started the petocin (sp) to induce labor still contracting but nothing

happening after a few hours on the petocine dilated to 2 still not considered in

labor yet.

tried the bath washed her hair and her body make her feel better, then tried

the ball and rocking, a little later the bath again, still not considered in

labor until she is at 4.

by the time she is 4 which was Saturday night she was exhausted and could not

take the pain any more when she was 2 her contractions were 2 min apart and at 4

they were one right after another so we did the cottle (sp) but that freaked her

out because she had a spinal tap when she was 16 and it did not go well ,it took

a long time to get her ready and keep her still.

then when it kicked in she was able to rest a little me too Just a little no

sleep since Thursday night at this point.

6 am Sunday morning she is a 7 still on the pit but the cottle wore off and not

doing well with the pain directed all of her nasty ness at me so the

anesthesiologist came back in and gave her some more meds( THANK GOD)

By 9 she was at 9 and wanted to push so we got ready

she pushed for 20 min aprox and she gave birth

at 10 she started to push and the baby was born at 10:21 on fathers day june 20

2004

I am tired am going to rest now snoooooooooooz

Congratulations! You deserve a rest - It sounds like you worked as hard as

if you had given birth. Get lots of rest.

Congratulations to all the family. New babies are wonderful. I'm glad the hard

part is over. Now get some rest because babies can keep you mighty busy.
