claire, thanks for asking this question and jill, thanks for

providing an easy answer!

i have been so miserable as well, but since i have never been

through a pregnancy before, i thought it was normal (true) and

thought there was nothing to be done about it (uh, not true). i

will certainly try these seabands... claire, i saw that you said

they are a little uncomfortable, but is it more bearable than the

morning sickness?

thanks... hopefully morning sickness will be the worst of our

problems over the next 8 months!

kindly,

susanna

Hi Claire,

The bands may be too tight on you, they are elastic, correct? You might

want to try to loosen the band a bit but to maintain pressure on the point

where the plastic pressure point is, perhaps a bit of tape might work If

you are one of those women who swell during pregnancy, this could be a

problem for you down the road, and you don't need the circulation cut off in

your hands!

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I found the morning sickness was

unbearable. Nothing helped at all and I resorted to medication. Diclectin

was the name and it was very effective.

In terms of an energy booster, the first trimester is always the worst for

energy, all I can recommend is that you get lots of sleep and keep up the

prenatal vitamins. Energy bars and drinks are high in calories and some

high in sugars, which are not good to take - but if I were you, I'd consult

a dietician or pharmacist to see what they recommend.

Hang in there!

Jill
