solved the problem. It only took me 5 hours. LOL!!!

FINE!

YOU solved it (it doesn't matter that it took you 5 hours). I have

been rummaging around in what few books I still have left from " my

previous life " and think I finally found the necessary algebraic

equation.

What was that that I said about the 8th grade? And humiliation? I

can tell you this much - we didn't have this kind of math question

when I was in the 8th grade. Of course, according to Barb, we

didn't have the piston engine, either.

After I realized that Andy and Ellen got up early and started BAKING

instead of BARKING (I really do need to get new glasses), the

problem started to make some sense. By the time I had gone through

my third math/business book with no luck, I decided that the only

easy solution would be for Andy and Ellen to sign on at Alice's

Restaurant and sell Hash Brownies instead - much higher profit for

much less work.
