Guest guest
Like you, Ginny, I can't do a lot of the things that I used to do but I've figured out ways to keep my good hand busy. This year I'm making a lot of my Christmas gifts....small quilt wall-hangings, several clocks, some Christmas ornaments for the folks at work, etc. One year I made soap for everyone at work. It saves money (a big issue this year), people seem to enjoy them, and it's fun to do. While I've had to give up certain things, I'm glad that there are some things out there that I can do. We have a 's, A. C. , and many JoAnn's. Re making clocks, this is a new hobby for me. I'm starting off with some easy, less expensive ones, but I found a place on-line that sells kits that are pretty expensive. I've put one of them on my Christmas list and am hoping that Santa will come down my chimney with it. The kits at the on-line place are gorgeous and made out of beautiful woods (mahogany, cherry, oak, etc.). I would really love to make one. I still love to look at the arts and crafts though and I love to buy candles there and scented wax. I even love Joanne Fabrics still even though I can't sew as much as I used to. Can't wait til sunday...am looking forward to meeting both of you so much...will bring a camera so Joann can have pics...Hoping we don't get tons of snow over fri..cause I really don't want to shovel. Hugs..Ginny __________________________________________________
