Guest guest
And let's not forget the time honored games like shutes and Ladders and Candyland. I always wanted those brick Lego things, alas I never got them. I think we are dating ourselves pretty good here take care, Lin What is next Troll dolls? We used to have so much fun with Troll dolls! Our neighbor had a granddaughter who would come to visit. She would make us clothes out of felt. We had "bricks," (like Legos), and would make a house for them. That brings about good memories! I found a doctor, nurse & baby troll set and got it for my nurse daughter a couple years back. My daughters had Pretty Ponies and Care Bears. I can't believe Cabbage Patch dolls have survived all these years! Love, N.
Guest guest
shutes and Ladders and Candyland I still play those with kids--but the board has changed a little. Know what you can do when you play Candyland and it's going forever? Slip the cards out that put you way down at the bottom, and it will get over more quickly. Guest guest
Well, I'm thinking about my Thumblina and Tiny Tears and Cathy dolls. Guess what era that places me in? Guest guest
Cathy and thats not even counting all the games we made up ourselves. Just using what we had and playing dress up, my girls never really got into to that. But my Grammy had all of my Mother's skirts and stuff from when she was a teenager my sister and I would play for ever. I too miss the good ole days, but I don't want to go back and grow up again, once is enough. I hope you have a low pain day, Lin -- Re: Re: Toys that make a comeback what about monopoly, scrabble, lincoln logs, pick up sticks. jacks, chinese checkers. oh the fun we used to have. no electrcity needed. imiss the good old days. cathy
