Hi,

Could there be any lack of sleep that could be contributing to that? I find

that I have to be vigilant to get as much sleep as I can and to get out every

day that there is sun for at least 30 minutes with some part of my skin

exposed summer and winter to stay at my best.

Depression is one thing that is very much influenced by sleep and morning

sunshine. Exercise is also something that will keep depression away for normal

people, but of course for us, that isn't always easy to do. But I think it is

important to try to get what you can do on a routine basis.

These ideas seem so simple that you wouldn't think they make that much

difference, but they really do. I have learned that over the years. I have

been

very sensitive to medications so I have had to come up with alternatives.

Melatonin was suggested to me years ago, and I tried taking the 1mg a night that

was suggested and it didn't help much so I gave it up. This past year, I was

desperate as I was really off course with my sleep and nothing outside of

medication was helping, so I tried the Melatonin again, and increased it to 3mg

a

night and it works like a charm for me every night. I don't notice any side

effects from it at all. No groggy feeling when I wake up, etc.

Of course, check with your doctor before trying it for yourself.
