Guest guest
Hi Janet, I was SO surprised ....and disappointed! Wondering if you could answer a question for me. Am I correct that sorbitol is metabolised like a carb, but just slower than sugar so it's safer for diabetics? I looked up xylitol and it said it was a sugar alcohol. I would assume it's similar to sorbitol, but maybe a bit more natural since it comes from a tree. I'm not a diabetic, but because I need to stay away from ALL carbs, diabetic info about a food is often helpful for me so I don't unknowingly sabotage myself. Thanks, Anita > Thanks for the info. Guest guest
Anita, I have no idea about the carb part. I think Figgy from adult mito answereed more. I am not good at all about techinical stuff. The part about the sorbitol for me is if I get too much of it I get diahreara. But, have been taking the Qgel for over a year now and had no problems. Actually have constipation once in a while. My son also has had no problems. I got the problems with diareaa from eating too many chocolate covered cherries with sorbitol from a local candy maker. Cherries are also supposed to be good for constipation so maybe it was something else. all Qgel contain sorbitol or xylitol > > > > > > > > > > I just contacted epic 4health because I want to try QGel.
