Hi , I've had a handicapped sticker for about 15 years. In

PA all I had to do was get my doc to fill out a special form from

the DMV stating the fact that I need it. People with heart

conditions that have no visable physical problem walking and

don't look sick at all get them because walking aggravates their

condition, just like mitos!

Good luck getting yours

Best Wishes, Anita

,

In Iowa, I had to have my doctor fill out a form and then take it

to the DMV. It was his idea for me to have one. I had to get it at age

18, so it was difficult for me at that time. I am now like Laurie and

need the spaces more for the space for my van and the wheelchair. I also

have the license plate and hanging tag.

Smiles,

In Michigan, if the doctor says you can't walk a short distance (can't

remember what it is) you can qualify for one. I needed mine more when I

was

walking than when I got my scooter. Now with a van with a ramp, I need

the

wide spaces. I have a handicapped license plate and then a hanging tag

for

when I am riding in someone elses car.
