We attended almost a full day Sat. It was a wonderful show, it was my

first, I really enjoyed it and highly recommend going if one is close to your

area. It was very organized, and I left there feeling more educated,more

hopeful,glad that I had PLS if I have to have something because I saw alot of

people who were alot worse off than I was, especially the little children born

with serious afflictions and never got to have the 50 good years that I did. I

saw alot of things, did not see everything but I will share what I can.

There were 136 vendors some had every kind of powerchairs you could think

of, even more than I've seen online, one of my favorites was a lounge chair

with wheels for the beach I will try to find website for you all to see it too.

also, and Dana Reeve Paralysis Resource Center, Canine Companions

for Independence, Able Newspaper for,by and about the disabled www.ablenews.com

Accessable Vans and Mobility, you can get in brand new vans and see which ones

you like and would work the best for you, they also offer pre-owned vehicles.

Also, Dodge and Toyota handicapped vans, and I saw a few private owned vans on

the parking lot for sale by owner and they had a brochure printed up with

details and price and you could just take a flyer if you were interested.

They also had 37 workshops going over the 3-day period,such as

AccessabilityTips for the Home,

Aging with a Disability, Differences Between People Born withPhysical

Disabilities and Those Who Acquire Them, Mobility Solutions for People with

Limited Resources. A Special Keynote Address by Chad Crittenden,Survivor

Vanuatu ,his inspiring story as an amputee and his experience as the firstperson

with a physical disability competing on Survivor, and then open upthe floor to

questions.

And they had a lift that can pick you up and put you in and take you

out of an inground pool and also one for an above ground pool, that worked with

a hydraulic lift run by water pressure from a garden hose. Well , I hope you

all get to go to one of these expoes, you will really enjoy
