Sorry for the delayed response....... computer problems!!!

Dr. 's office ended up submitting paperwork to my insurance co (I'm on a

PPO) for pre-approval of my abdominal myo. Though he is not a " preferred

provider " on my PPO, the ins co pre-approved my procedure at the hospital, which

was a " preferred " hospital. Based on the provisions of my PPO, we expect that

the surgical fees will actually end up being covered at 100% also, but that may

be a unique provision in my policy and situation. I paid for the initial

consultations and for a percentage of the estimated surgical fees, which I

expect will be reimbursed at 100%. I developed a list of many Drs in the LA

area while doing my initial research. I'll try to find it and send it along.

Also, try searching in the message archives for Drs. There's also a database of

Drs. which lists their locations on the NUFF website. Good Luck!
