Hi - Thanks to Janet and Adrienne for answering my questions. I

have seen Dr. s of Beth Isreal Deaconess Hosptial in

Boston twice, and have an apt. with Dr Mark Korson there in Sept. Dr.

s is extremely nice but had high hopes for carnitor helping me,

which it did not. ( I have huge loss of energy and stamina, weakness

and faintness.) He seems to have no other suggestions except a

sleep study. He did not feel that the mito cocktail was too

important and did not mention that Co-Q-10 or Carnitor were available

in liquiid form. If it may be better aborbed why didn't he mention

it?? He also feels that a muscle biopsy would be too much for me to

go through and not give answers that would help treatment. ( We've

all heard this - right?)I am torn wondering if I need to accept that

nothing can be done, or should I contiue to look for a doctor with

more ideas to try? My GP is wonderful and watches the nutritional

issues but a researcher would be beneficial. there is also an MDA

doctor in my town, East Lansing, Michigan, but I have not felt that

my primary symptoms were muscular. Any opinions most welcome, and

thank to all of you for sharing all wisdom and support! Marjette
