I know he is newly setting up a mito research lab, but he didn't discuss that with me. We just discussed how far I wanted to go to find out exactly what is wrong with me. As far as I am concerned, I need a final diagnoses to have a treatment plan for myself. I have grown children that are having some symptoms. I have grandchildren from my son and my daughter is planning to have a baby this year. I feel that it is my obligation, as long as I am able, to find out what is going on with my mitochondria. I am willing to do almost anything to find out (more biopsies, etc.) Dr. Enns has the knowledge and treated me really good. I completely understand wanting to know if you have mito to help your children and grandchildren. I hope you find out what kind of mito you have so you can help your family plan for the future.
