He has not slept for the past two nights and we brought him to bed with us last night at 2:40 and he finaly did, he is just miserable. Guest guest
Zephyr, I am so sorry that Skyler isn't feeling well!! You really do need to take him in if he is 104. Just to make sure that it is nothing too serious and he will probably need some antibiotics to help fight the cold or whatever. Let us know what the dr says!!! Not sure what we are having today. Maureen whta is on themenu saturday? Guest guest
Zephyr! Hope little Skyler is better soon! My kids were famous for running high fevers and whenever it was for more than a day they always had ear infections! Well, at least there are antibiotics for that- I hope he doesnt have an ear infection though, those are miserable to deal with- poor little guy! Keep us posted As far as our menu goes, we are having tuna tetrazzini(now, please no one ask me for the recipe, it is tuna helper-LOL!!) green beans salad Caren ><(((*> In wwliterside@y..., " Zephyrmon " wrote: > Citrus Punch > > Good Morning Everyone > I am off to the pediatrician with Skyler as he has a fever of 104 and has been miserable I thought it was teething again his nose is runny unstoppable so I am sure it is just a cold but want to be safe. Guest guest
He is just having a little virus evidently it is going around here. Dr says pedialite for the next two days. Temp had gone down by the time I got to the docs to 101 so glad of that. Zephyr whta is on themenu saturday? Guest guest
Oh Maureen, he is just miserable. All he wants is for me to hold him, which I do not mind at all but it is really hurting my dh's feelings. I felt like his fever was back and took his temp and sure enough it is so I gave him advil again and he slept for almost 2 hours and now seems a little less weary at least it gave us our first break of the day. Dr said just give him pedialite for today and tomorow and my dh is surre he will starve to death I have assured him this is not the case. caught him sneaking him rice crispies it was really cute. We really are both food addicts.I am hoping that he will actually sleep through tonight so the rest will do him good and if he has trouble again we will probably bring him to bed with us. Aiming to get to the baltimore farmers market tomorow and maybe a flea market or two to look for some toys. Now I do not feel like cooking dinner but ordering pizza instead and I hate that. I had a mini milestone today I went to pick up pedialite for the little guy and it is my old binge buying place well I was all set to pick up binge food and instead talked myself into buying a single serve size bag of microwave kettle corn and that satisfied my craving. Felt proud of the behavior change when I walked out. Zephyr Re: whta is on themenu saturday? He is just having a little virus evidently it is going around here. Guest guest
Zephyr, I am so proud of you for getting that kettle corn! You've come a long way, baby, and this just proves it. You had the perfect opportunity to rationalize a binge and you chose not to! You should really pat yourself on the back! I'm really glad to hear Skyler is doing better. Tell DH that the little guy will be just fine on the pedialyte. Nobody feels like eating when they have a fever and babies are more resilient than we give them credit for! Take care and get some extra rest when you are able. > Oh Maureen, he is just miserable. All he wants is for me to hold him, which I do not mind at all but it is really hurting my dh's feelings. Guest guest
Thnaks so much , how is your weekend? Little man finaly slept from 8 until 8:30 this morning. It is amazing the difference. He is still pouring liquid out of every orifice of his body and usually it is landing on me but it is a badge of honor, I am still just so grateful to have him. He is definitley on the mend the fever was back this morning but he just looks so much better after all that sleep. Zephyr Re: whta is on themenu saturday?
