Hi everyone! I have not been on too much this week- I have been very

busy, but do check messages- so trying to keep up. I was reading the

conversations about the WATP 2 mile tape and walking etc for

exercise. I have been doing the 2 mile and recently bought the 3 mile

one. YOWSA!! The first time I did the 3 mile I thought I was having

an attack! I was huffing and puffing and had to slow down! I have

done it now a few times since and it is getting easier but my heavens

I sweat like crazy doing that one!! I feel great afterwards though. I

would love to know how many calories I burn doing that one(or points

should I say?) I am guessing 3-4 pts maybe?

Hope everyone is staying OP and journaling- I have been doing both

but have been going out to eat a lot and I feel I never lose as well

when I eat out a lot, even if I do stay OP- probably the excess

sodium...

My goal is to reach the 50 lb mark by weigh in on Sept 16th. That is

when I go back for my WW meeting after being gone for 4 weeks- I

switched to coming once a month and I just want to prove to myself

that I can do this without having to weigh in every week- well sorry

so long, just had to babble! Have a great weekend:)

Hey Caren,

I wondered where you disappeared to. I have missed not hearing from you. How

is everything? Are the kiddos in school?

Good luck at your weigh in!!!!! I know that you will do fine!!!!

Hi Maureen- I am fine! The kids are in school, but it just seems

lately that I only have time to check messages, but not much extra

time to post-I need a faster computer!! All in good time!

Thanks for the encouragement-I hope to be at my goal in the next

week. I am very close right now, so hopefullly if things keep up like

I would like them to, I will hit my 50 lbs with no problem.

I have been really taking advantage of Leah's time in preschool. I

have had 2 breakfast dates already and another one next week( see

what I mean about going out a lot?) It isnt too often that I can sit

and visit with friends and drink coffee for 2 hrs without having a

little one tugging at me. How are you doing with your program? Have

you had any luck with the scale lately? Your journals look really

good and looks like you are getting your exercise in! It's usually

feast or famine with me. I either lose 2 or 3 lbs in a week, or gain--

Good luck-keep on journaling:)

I know what you mean about ime to visit with your friends!! I have been doing

a littl3 of that too, but not going out just sitting and talking.

I am still not doing much on the scale end, but I think my clothes are fitting

better. I think I might be losing the inches and not pounds. I was working on

the school t-shirt orders yesterday and filling the ones we had on-hand. I held

up an X-Large, which is what I used to wear (now medium) and it looked like a

dress. I couldn't believe it!!!! That was a real shocker to me. This was the

first time I compared my " old " size to my " new' size.

Good for you Maureen! What an ccomplishemnt- I have gone from a size

22 to a 12 so far. I can wear a medium shirt, but I am a little on

the busty side so larges are still a better fit for me. I still have

a tummy I am trying to flatten out. Babies(and weight) are murder on

those abs!-LOL! If your clothes are looser than you are doing great!

Sometimes that is the only thing that saves me from throwing in the

towel! I have kept my measurements from day 1 and check every month-

it is a great motivator!!

Hey Caren!

I started in size 22 and am now wearing 12-14 depending on what it is. What

weight did you start at? I was 225, or maybe more, I didn't have a scale when I

first started, and am now 165. I haven't done my measurements in a long time, I

really should do them again, but I have just been going by how my clothes feel.

Hi Caren!

Hope you make your 50lb mark. Congrats on what you have done so far. Have a good

weekend also. I am buried in homework so I thought I would take a break and come

and check my messages.
