I have a dog, and have had many over the span of my 50+ years, and it never gets easier to lose a pet. They are indeed our family, just like a child, brother, etc. I'm glad you have the attitude of OB not suffering any longer, and I'm sure also, that they will be there to meet us on the other side! I have to believe that! Just know, dear friend, that I'm thinking of you during this sad time of losing your pet and a beloved EDSer and sister.
