Hi friends

I just want to remind everyone that will be sponsoring a silent

auction at the next UMDF conference in August to help raise money for the

UMDF. So get out the telephone if you know people who would be willing to

donate stuff, or the knitting needles or crochet hooks to make something or

the computer art, jewelry or anything else you can think of. I have sheets

made up for people to place their bids.

If you have questions, please ask away. The more stuff we can get, the more

money that can be donated to UMDF from our group. If you aren't going to the

conference, but can donate something, we will figure out a way to get it

there.

Depending on what it is, you can send it to me and I'll take it down, but

with 2 wheelchairs, our space is most likely going to be limited, especially

since I have several boxes of stuff I have made.

I'll check with umdf and see if it can be sent to the conference center or

hotel and what the address would be and how early they will take it.

Can you post the address of where and when to send items?

Do we need to let someone know in advance of what we are sending,

exactly?

Hi Laurie, I will make a couple of sets of embroidered hand towels. That

shouldn't take too much space, but I will be happy to shipped them to the

site or someone who lives in that area. Just let me know when you need to

have them. Cheers, Ruth

To those who would like to contribute to the silent auction.

You can send it to the UMDF office at any time. Just let them know or me

know what you are sending and when so they will know it is for the

silent auction. It would probably be a good idea to write " Mitoldies silent

auction for conference " on the outside of the package or box.

I'm sorry it took me so long to get this to you. The UMDF office needs to

receive the items for the silent auction by the first of August.
