Guest guest
Hi , Did I miss a tread here???? I am not sure why this was posted, but found it interesting as I have fatty liver, and my daughter is insulin resitant. My neuro just mentioned that he thought I was too, and wants my PCP to do a insulin test, not a test for sugar in my blood, but to see how I handle insulin or if I make it or something. I wasn't sure. So, if someone could let me know what this topic was about I would appreciate it. Thanks. Smiles to you, Entrez PubMed > http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&dopt=Abstra\ ct&list_uids=15122714 > > > > Medical advice, information, opinions, data and statements contained herein are not necessarily those of the list moderators. Guest guest
, I sent this to the list, because of the close link to this liver problem (which I have) with diabetes (which I also have). The more connections to diabetes, the more they will understand its precursors. Insulin resistance is very common before full-blown diabetes. I also believe that mito dysfunction may be one of the causes of DM in those with mito disease.
