Guest guest
I am so stressed now. I'm waiting for the school home health tutor to call and set up when she's gonna start with and . I am surprised at how easy it is going so far. The person I talked to at the district said she immediately found someone for , and asked her if she wanted to do too, and she said yes. Now I'm just waiting for her to call me. is behind in school cause he's been sick with a sinus infection and the flu. He was sick a few weeks ago too with a migraine and just being so tired. He went to the dr today for his constant stomach complaints. I got nothing from the dr. He said to go see a GI. He didn't even give me an idea of what it may be. I told him that 's poop has been really green for 4 days. He said that green poop didn't mean anything. Is that right? How can that be? He hasn't eaten anything that would cause it to be green. just hasn't been hisself for a few months now. I just am so confused. I don't know what is going on, and it's stressing me out! was mad cause the dr just felt his belly and gave us the name of a GI at the Children's hosp. Then he said to take him to a therapist. I want to do that anyway, too. It just makes me mad. I have just about lost all confidence in their pediatrician. So, all my kids are behind in school. It's one thing with the girls, but has always been a straight A student. Very disciplined and organized with his work. I don't know what is going on. He has had stomach complaints since he was about 6. Thought it was lactose intolerance. But, it hasn't gotten any better since he stopped eating that stuff, and seems to have gotten worse. So, was getting a massage this morning while I was having PT. She got a bad muscle spasm during the massage when she lifted her head to scratch. She was crying and in so much pain. My PT went in to her, and after trying a few things (ice - changing position) he told her to try to get on her hands and knees. She could do this. Then he told her to sit back on her feet, and put her head down - sort of like curled up. It worked! The spasms started to go away. I'm so glad it happened there. I did give her a muscle relaxer, but didn't have the valium the dr gave her for when this happens. I'm so glad I didn't have it. Now, why in the heck couldn't a doctor tell her to try that, instead of giving her shots of things like morphine, valium or torodahl? I just hope it works the next time. She said this one wasn't as bad. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. My pt gave me a ring splint to try. It's a plastic one. Not very comfortable. But, I may try them. Anyone have any experience with the plastic ones? 's lung dr said her lung sounds fine. He thinks she's got some inflamation and some anxiety. He said most of the patients he's had who have had spontaneous pneumo's have gotten anxiety. When I told him about our EDS suspisions, he asked a lot of questions. He said it sounds like if we end up having it, it will be a variant. He didn't say much more than that, except that it could explain a lot of our problems, and to let him know when we find out. So, I'm about at my ropes end. I keep questioning myself - whether I'm doing right by my kids or not. I just wish they could all go to school like normal kids and not have to deal with all this crap. Everything hit us a year ago. Just one thing after another. I just want to wrinkle up 2003, and throw it in the trash! I hope we can get out of the rut we are in soon. I don't think I can take much more.......
