>>IF you get the right amount of seaweed into you your thyroid will straighten

itself out to a normal level. <<

If it was this easy, don;t you think we all would be doing it? Heck I would live

in the sea if I thought it would make me well, but the truth is autoimmune

thyroid disease attacks the thyroid gland and slowly kills it. Depending on how

long you have Hashi's depends on how much damage has been done to it,and the

amount of iodine you have in your system will only make this faster and worse

when you have Hashi's. This is dangerous propaganda for people with Hashi's.

Iodine will not cure them!

Yeah, it didn't sound right to me. I do know that some things are good to do

" along " with medications. I know that Kelp does have many good benefits to it,

but we are not fish! What does confuse me is that from what I have read, we

are not to take Iodine! So, she sent me another site to look at, but when

people are out to make money, I am leery!

Kathy, we've had folks here who tried the iodine route...and it made

them worse. Natural dessicated thyroid works. It's natural, it gives

you exactly what your OWN thyroid could be giving you. What could be

better.

have hypothyroidism and had been on synthriod for 15 years earlier

in my life, but it caused so many other problems as most meds do. I

try to not take anything and always look for an alternative. Now

having said that, I will tell you what I do! This is not a diagnosis

for you nor a form of treatment and I encourage you to do your own

research as they sort of have a law against someone without a

license prescribing treatment:)))) So this is just telling you what

I do!. OK?????

OK, Thanks Janie and ! I was not planning on going off of Armour anyway.

I feel Armour is my answer and I am still " climbing " my way out of the hole!

I go see my original Dr. tomorrow. Not looking forward to it. He is not the

one that put me on Armour, but I am going to tell him if he wants me to remain

as his patient, as I have been for 30 years, then he best right me out a

prescription, and I want more of it! LOL Treat my symptoms! I can already

see a difference from the week that I have been on Armour and off of Synthroid.
