Is get involved with political issues but I have been advised that there was a

discussion at an AG Bell meeting that President. Bush's new budget includes

eliminating the money for universal newborn hearing screening tests.

I am hoping that this is just politics and a rumor but do think we need to find

out whether it is or not because we need to take a stand if it is so. Has

anyone heard anything to confirm this? I have not heard anything about this

until tonight. Please share if you know anything.
