Guest guest
Hi, I am new to this group and am hoping that someone out there can offer experience with this question. I am type 1, diagnosed at age 29, while pregnant with our son. My doctor just switched my insulin from Humilin N, to Lantus. I always took the Humilin in the morning and evening, with shots of Humolog during the day. Now, I am taking the Lantus, twice a day, 35 units in the a.m. and 27 units in the p.m.. For now, I am not taking any other insulin....but will need to start back up again, I am sure. My question is, is anyone else out there taking Lantus more than once a day? All of the warnings indicate that it should only be taken once a day. Would love to hear some feedback, thanks ever so much!
