PURPLE TOES time again :-D ... Bending, splitting, peeling toe nails :-(

Hi all,

Hey guys, that time of year is coming up soon. At least for some of us. I am

talking about " spring cleaning time " and toe bumping time, lol. Well, I

started early this year since Bill is in the hospital and needs his room

clean.

It is amazing. I had a bad bout of not knowing where my feet were and bumped

into <<everything>> in my apartment. I am/was doing major house cleaning with

rearrangement of bookcases and stuff. But, you would not believe how many dust

bunnies books can collect ... especially in New Jersey " -)).

Well, I bumped my little toe and thought nothing of it a few days ago. It

didn't really hurt. Last night it was red then purple, or was that purple then

red :-D. Later, I realized my little toe nail had split down the center. And I

know I did not bump the toe that hard ... or not -- considering EDS paper thin

brittle toe nails. And considering my pain insensitivity maybe I did whack it

harder that I thought :-].

Well, that was a few days ago. Tonight, half the little toenail just FELL OFF

-- when I touched it. Eek! So, I suppose I can expect the other half to go

soon :-<. Talk about nail replacement. Hey, yes this is my <<REAL>> nail, not a

" press on " :-D Caro.
