-added todays scan pics!!!!

Hi ! I added the scan pics that Kaitlyn had taken today (photo

album titled Kaitlyn ). Also an update, we have 2 decisions

to make, either to take the band off for good or wait a little longer

so me and my husband are having a long talk tonight about

everything. Her orthotist is happy with how her head looks, he said

we can keep it on another month and do another rescan so pretty much

take it month by month from here on out or be all done with it. He

said IF there is anymore correction it may be minimal, he said

probably not enough to make much of a difference but yet he said I

can't see into a crystal ball to really know, he said maybe she will

show more growth but being she is older and her head growth is

slowing down it will be more than likely minimal growth. So that is

where we are at now. He also did notice a bit of torticollis back,

not bad but some so I've got an appt all set up to take her back to

physical therapy for it. I'm quite happy with how her head looks in

the scan and in person but yet I told her orthotist I may just leave

it on another month, do a rescan and if it shows no more growth then

call it quits, if she does show a little bit of growth then let's go

another month, it's just a hard decision to make right now because

her head looks really good and yes I'm so ready for her helmet to be

off but yet there's that part of me that says MAYBE we can get just a

tiny bit more correction. So I'll talk to my husband more tonight

and I have to call her orthotist back up tomorrow and let him know

our decision. He said her head by looking at the scans and looking

at it in person is within normal range, he said heck some people

would love to end up with Kaitlyns shape head because some people

don't get that good of correction with the helmets meaning the more

severe cases such as brach. He tried showing me some pics of kids

that have graduated and their heads don't look as good as Kaitlyns so

that's a plus there. All I know is my head is killing me LOL it's

such a tough decision right now! Check out the pics of her scan I

just posted, I labeled them todays scan 4-5-06 and tell me what you

think!
