Guest guest
Sim, I'm feeling somewhat better, after taking the 9 1/2 grains of generic armour a week ago today. I still don't feel optimal, but the generic brand is the same thing that T takes and she does well on them. I'm wondering if my overdosage last week is going to have some lingering effects, because that was a lot of T4 to put into my system in one whack, let alone the T3 overload. lol. I also tried to take a generic form of the Mexican replacement for Atenolol for blood pressure, and it was a bust. I had to get my dr to call in the atenolol because I was just getting worse and worse feeling on the other. I've since tossed that out. I was willing to try Naturethroid but when I learned that was going to be about a month before I'd get that in, it's really not left me much choice at this point, other than to continue taking the generic brand armour. I also got my list in for dr's who prescribe Armour thyroid in my area, and they are few and far between. ughh! Only one in this entire city of Houston who supposedly knows much about the way Broda thyroid treatments. My speculation is that I changed from Armour Thyroid to Levoxyl for one week, and just about had this same reaction. I don't feel as good as I did feel, so that is in the back of my mind. I figure the next few weeks will tell the true picture. I'm either going to start feeling better, or I'm going to be in trouble. I'm not sure which at this point. Other than upping the dose which may be the problem, I have absolutely no clues, but for me, the name brand armour made me feel so much better. :-( SandyE~Houston Differences between generic armour Has anyone noticed a difference between generic armour from various countries? I know that some list members have had good experiences and some have not, and I was wondering if it has a country correlation? Sim
Guest guest
Sandy, I hope that you feel better soon. I think you are right to reserve judgement until next week. Although being patient with this kind of stuff can be hard, can't it?(as I sit at my computer with two pairs of wool socks and a muffler wrapped about my nose; struggling against temptation to raise my meds again).
