Just a possibility .... Have your thyroid checked.

I have a goiter which looks like a swollen neck

slightly to the side of my throat. It swells up pretty

big especially after my accident when they think I

became compressed. It has gone down considerably now.

But if it's swollen just have the Dr check the tyroid

gland to see if that is what is swollen. I can

actually see mine and when I push it I can see the

thing move but MINE IS LARGE you should not be able to

do this if your is normal size....Just a thought.

Just a thought....Have you had your thyroid checked?

I have a goiter and after my car accident the goiter

blew up to huge. It has gone back down again but it is

up and down in size.

I cant speak for the other ladies, but I have had many thyroid tests done ( at

least thats what the doc said-they took blood anyway) he he ........and allways

came back fine.

I had unexplained weight gains and losses as a child and they thought that might

be it then too, but nothing showed up.

so I don't know. I wonder about it though. My mom had lymph node problems, well

she actually had a rare disorder lymphamatoid granulamatosis (sp) It was

terminal.

But so far all my health problems seem linked to my fathers side. Same with my

sister.
